Mike Novel project was created recently, in May 2018, by soloist of the instrumental band ROCKOKO – Michael Romanyshyn.  The performer presented his work with the debut single «One That I Need» in July 2018.  Well-known Ukrainian radio stations were immediately take this composition in their playlists.  With a presentation of the debut single, Mike Novel has visited about 20 radiostations and TV‑show.

     Michael Romanyshyn, vocalist and songwriter, began his work as a composer-instrumentalist.  For a long time collaborations with well-known music projects he has gained much experience and he is currently a soloist of the famous instrumental band ROCKOKO.  Despite his work in the band he is writing author’s compositions and arrangements in different musical styles and for various performers (soloists, rock bands, ensembles, chamber and symphony orchestras).  His compositions are written in such genres as the classics, its combinations with electronic and electroacoustic music, jazz.  He prefers film scoring (soundtracks).  Recently, the authorial composition of Michael Romanyshyn «A Day» for string quartet was published in the well-known music publishing «Da Vinci Publishing» (Osaka, Japan). Now the musician is in the transition stage of creativity.  He is interested in music in a broader sense, so the composer-instrumentalist decided to turn to the vocal genre.

The peculiarity of the project lies in the fact that vocal parties should not be considered purely as solients.  According to its purpose instrumental and vocal parties are equivalent and constantly complement each other.

The Mike Novel project is an eclectic of the vocal-instumental genre and western popular music.
